My MOH and I went wedding dress shopping this weekend and we fell in love with a dress from David's Bridal. For those of you who purchased your dress there, how was it? Im worried about how crowded it is all the time. Does this put a damper on the service? Any opinion would be appreciated..
Thanks, Katie

I got my dress fro there and had no problems, my dress came in a month along with my veil and tiara. I wouldn't say the service is bad but like you said it is crazy there.

Re: David's Bridal
Depneds on what type of service you are looking for. If you want individualized attention, then go elsewhere. If you don't mind being left alone here and there, then go for it. Keep in mind that you get the service that you pay for.
I bought my dress and David's and have had no problems whatsoever. The sales person was incredible and sooo very helpful. But, I am the type of person that does not want to be doted upon while shopping. I want to be left alone to decide. I never felt rushed, even though it was a Saturday AM (for my dress, the BM dresses and when I went to pick it up). My dress was perfect. I have made the decision to get it altered elsewhere since we have a family friend that makes wedding dress and now works for Donna Karen.
Good luck. Which dress did you like?

Re: David's Bridal
I got my dress, veil, headpiece and slip there. I think they have nice dresses. I didn't want to spend alot so I went there. I rather put money into other things. Not that I don't think the dress is important but its preference. If you to to David's Briday and make an appointment I would ask for MARIE. She helped me and she is wonderful. Very patient and really can tell what you like from talking to you.

I just got my BM dress there for my friend's wedding and had a great experience. I'm having it altered at my seamstress.

Re: David's Bridal
Is there a reason some are not using them for alterations? Also, has anyone heard of DaVinci Dresses? They seem to be knock off's of Davids Bridal gowns available at smaller bridal shops.
I fell in love with style #5268. Ill try to post a pic.

My FSIL got her dress there. No problems, except that the dresses come in very quickly (2 weeks) and you need to store it yourself. She had it altered somewhere else.
