Does anyone know if they carry Maggie dresses?

I dont think so, check their website. They have only specific designers they carry.

No they only carry their own brands, and I wouldnt go there. The woman who was helping me left me and started helping someone else. They are not very attentive.

no they don't, but David's is a great place to go and try on dresses if you never have. They have a LARGE selection and carry lots in all sizes so you can see what a dress will really look like.

It all depends on which day you go, which store you go to and what consultant you get. On weekends, it's crazy - I was just at the westbury store yesterday for BM dresses - and the consultants do help more than one person, they sorta have to because of the volume. But when I went on a Wed. afternoon for my dress, I had a very attentive consultant. Their dresses are affordable and gorgeous, and like someone else said, it definitely helps you decide what style you like since they carry soooo many different styles.

But they do not carry Maggie Sottero - only their lines (they have a David's Bridal Collection line, Oleg Cassino, Galina and Monique Luo).

Good luck!

You're right about this! I must have went to the same David's bridal as you (The source mall) on Saturday.I guess the worst day to go, but we got such nasty treatment. I went b/c my MOH is also getting married, she's getting married in Sept. and we needed to try on BM dresses...the attendents at David's acted as if they were doing us a favor by helping us out. We walked right out. Couldn't stand the attitude.

I highly recommend if you're looking for Maggie Sottero gowns try going to Lillette's - you do have to make an appointment and it's in Baldwin (on Merrick Rd if I recall correctly offhand). I got my Maggie there and it was about $1,000 before alterations.

If you do go to Lillette's ask for Gerri.

She is such a doll- also so very very patient- I love Lillette's though they have a great selection and also their prices are very reasonable on most of their gowns.

Has anyone ordered from Davids online, because I am not a fan of their customer service?
It's for a BM dress.

Maggie dresses are beautiful....I wore one for my wedding day. I found that they are not everywhere. If you have a Maggie style in mind, I would go to the Maggie site. You can view the styles and find locations that carry that style. I called a few before I found a location that had my style to try on. I acutally went to a different location to purchase it. Renata's in Lindenhurst was lower in cost and also went the extra mile and made a few phone calls for me about the shipping time on my dress before I even walked into the store.

Just an fyi....Maggies take a while to ship....
Good Luck with your shopping!!!
