I ordered my gown form Davids bridal and it's sooooooooo pretty. But i'm wondering if they're good at the alterations. Has anyone used or is using them?
I also bought my dress at David's. I heard the woman that does the alterations is very good. I am probably going to go with her.
I bought my dress from David's Bridal, too. I am not going back there for alterations, but only because it is an hour drive for me to get there. If I was closer, I would probably have just had the alterations done there.
My dress is there now being altered. My final fitting is April 25th, we shall see!
I would suggest to get it altered somewhere else if you can. A friend of mine had a horrible experience with their alterations. Maybe it was just her experience, but do a search. (she went to the one in Carle Place) I think there have been posts about this before.
Yes Carle Place I heard isnt the best, I go to the Queens one.
I also got my dress there (Carle Place). I really wasn't happy with the service I received to begin with, but the place is so affordable that I bought from them anyway. So I am not having them do my alterations since I'd be nervous something would go wrong. And it is a 45 minute drive for me, too far.
Where elso besides any Davids you you suggest I get alterations? Preferably local on the Island.
