Let me start off by saying how much I HATE THEM!!!!
I picked out my flower girl dresses in January gave all the mothers (i have 4 FGs) the dress number etc. So the lady told me they shouldnt wait past Feb to order. So one of the mothers goes in first week of Feb and they tell her its DISCONTINUED. not only is it discontinued but apparently it was discontinued for 3 months!!!! In DEC the dress was discontinued, so when the sales clerk put all my info and etc in he made it seem like oh yeah no problem!!! Not only that but they never called me!!!!! So i would have never known anything!!! Then they get an attitude because i ask them why didnt anyone call me and they say oh whoever took the order should have. Then proceeded to say they NEVER KNOW WHEN A DRESS WILL BE DISCONTINUED. Keep this in mind when and if you go to them b/c the clerk said even if you order it they can discontinue it on you!!!! and dont think they will call you to let you know!!! Im so done with them.

I just read your vent. It seems like that is there business practice and it *****!! I forgot the flower girl number but its the one that had the train, they dont have it in the store anymore either, they said 1 store in SC may have it. They need a big wedding chain competition thats probably why there so slack on how they handle situations.

I would also try ebay. We started doing that for our FG dresses, but couldnt find one in a size 6 so I am just going to order it. This is the one we ordered already... FG dress
I emailed and faxed my complaint to the contact info that someone provided in my vent.

Re: DAVIDS BRIDAL
they got rid of a bunch of FG dresses for a while because f the beading.... there were traces of lead found in the beads. They will now not send out any FG dresses with beading till they can test it for lead.

Yeah you might get lucky and find some new ones that people decided not to use. Good Luck!!

Sorry this happen to you. I don't like Davids Bridal they always seem to have problems. And no customer service skills...I just purchased my FG dresses at Burlington they are beautiful. And the price was awesome. Check them out you might be surprise with their selection. You should be able to find FG dress pretty easy now, since Easter and Communion are on the way. Good Luck

Oh wow! Lately David's Bridal gets no love. Lots of angry brides with them. Now they should be a vendor crashing LIW. They can see what some people really think of them! I had a bad experience with them as well. I didn't buy anything from them though.. I just walked right out the door.

So amazing how everyone's experiences can differ. I've gotten BM dresses from them before with no problems and my BMs ordered and received their dresses with not one complaint. I guess it's just pure luck.

I've had an okay experience with DB in Westbury so far. . .they let me exchange my gown yesterday for a smaller size since I've lost 15 lbs. Hopefully they won't give my sister/MOH a hard time about ordering something in late April after she has her baby. . .they told her to hold off until after she has the baby so that the dress is closer to the correct size. . .

Be careful with your BM dress. I dont know which one you ordered, but we also held off bc one of my BM just had a baby, and they discontinued the dress without even telling me. We are at war with DB now.

Re: DAVIDS BRIDAL
i bought my dress and my girls dresses in the one in Westbury and had issues.
I bought my veil, bra, and shoes in the one in Long Island City and had issues. I had my shoes dyed in Long Island City and had issues.
I had alterations done in Long Island City and had issues.
Unfortunaly all the issues were going on at once! I have the name, phone number, and e-mail of a rep at the corporate office, and boy did she get an earful!!!!!!!!
The only good thing about them is you can get nice dresses for less. But you will haveto put up with morons who can care less for you, and you have to double and triple ask them the same questions because you will get different answers each time.

Thank you for that contact info. I emailed and faxed over my complaint last night. Lets see if I ever hear from them, since we both know how well they handle customer service
