My first fitting is Saturday and Im hoping to spend less than $200.
So ladies who had it done, how much did your alterations cost at Davids? I know it varies by what needs to be done but I'd like to see what the average is.

i just had alterations done last week and mine was $189.00
they had to take in on the bust area and on the sides. they were also adding theses snaps things to the inside of my dress and to my bra . and they will steam it too.

I just had my alterations there on sunday. Mine were $225. I was getting pads put in, the hem, and a over bustle and under bustle. More than I wanted to spend.

when you buy a dress at davids bridal do you HAVE TO take it home with you and then bring it back for alterations?

yea i had between 7-10 business days to come pick up after it came in. because they sell so many gowns they have no room to hold them all.
