Any reviews/comments on brides who have used Davids Bridal alterations in Westbury? What are their policies like? If they mess up the alterations will they full responsibility?

I did not end up getting my dress from there. But I heard their alterations aren't that great. But I do not know first hand

I went with my cousin to get her wedding dress altered and we had such a bad experience. They were not very helpful. Her specific issue was when she bought her dress from the westbury store she knew she wanted to add sleeves when she went back to alterations to make her appointment she saw the sleeves she wanted and asked if she could order them now the told her no you have to order during the fitting. The fitting comes the sleeves are discontinued and they were like oh well there's nothing we can do
We left and went to the massapequa store. The manager there called every David Bridal on the east coast to find a pair of these sleeves in the right size. She ended up getting them from a store in Alabama. Both my sister and I bought our dresses from the massapequa store. she had her dress altered there and had a great experience. And I will be using the massapequa store as well.
