So i go to get my shoes 2day. Bought them at Davids ($50 for dyeables - which i thought was crazy, but i needed them). The girl brings them up to me with the box open and she is looking at them. She closes the box and she goes 'here you go - Have a good day' I open the box and there is pink splashed on BOTH of my IVORY shoes. Im not that mad that they messed them up - Im more mad that the girl tried to pull one over on me. Shes dying a new pair for me 2morrow.
Go and get the new pair - everything looks good. Take them home and the next evening for some reason i try them on. They are the wrong size. I purchased 7.5W when the girl told me she was going to dye a new pair for me she said that they had my size - but they gave me 7.5M the second time around. I was so mad. I have to go back tomorrow for the 4th time. (FYI this is a Davids in Fishers IN - not in NY)

they have the worst customer service over there... I had to admit that my dresses came in on time and correct sizes but they are soooooooooo rude there...
OMG! That is horrible. What a sneaky little so and so! I would have seriously thrown them at her. Thats one of my pet peeves, people trying to 'pull one over on you' like you are an idiot.

I dislike everyone there except Rebecca. She is who made me change my mind about not walking out on them. I will deal with her and only her there. The rest of them are not very bright or helpful.

yeah...I never had fun there...at least not the LI David's. They are rude and not very interested in thier job. It just has this 'factory bridal' feel to it that a smaller botique wouldn't have. I did get my dress from them ultimatly, but it wasn't because of thier service that's for sure! you should check out the 'David's Bridal good or bad' thread. (pardon the paraphrase)

That's Davids for you... The other day I went in to get shoes for a wedding I am in ( they are almost the only ones that dye shoes anymore) and there was a girl crying at the register. THEY LOST HER DRESS!! SHE IS GETTING MARRIED THIS SAT!!!! AND THEY COULDN'T FIND IT. SHE WAS THERE FOR 3 HOURS WAITING!!!

That is sooo freakin horrible - I am soooo sorry. I am sure you really like these shoes or you wouldnt be going through this much trouble to get them done the right way.
I would calmly get the shoes that I need and after they are perfect and paid for, Id flip the hell out in the store on that girl...But if you think you could find another pair, I would get my money back and then throw the shoes in her face.
I know this sounds violent and I am probably not helping any but seriously that place annoys me to the core. I understand that there are many people that had good experiences there but Davids as a company should be ashamed of themselves and change the entire way they do business. I have been involved with and heard WAY too many horror stories at this point.
Good luck - I am sorry I went a little crazy there!

I had a horrible experience at David's Bridal, as well. The customer service is just horrific. No matter what time your appointment is, you always have to wait a long time. My recommendation to any future bride is --- avoid David's bridal at all cost. The one on Long Island is a zoo!

I also got shoes dyed at david's. What a horrendous mistake my dyed blue shoes looked horrendous on my LILAC dress. Never again will I buy shoes there again!!

I also had a bad experience with David's in Bklyn(since closed). i went to pick up my dyed shoes for a bridal party I was in and the girl gave them to me and they were all stained in a purplish color. thye also ordered my dress int he wrong size and tried to tell me that I wrote down the wrong size, when it clearly wasn't my handwriting. I was so happy when they got shut down for selling flea infested dresses.
