Davids Bridal, Paradise Bridal or Village Bridal??

Has anyone gotten their dresses from these places? I haven't started dress shopping yet and i am going to start. Have anyone of you had any bad experiences with any of these places?? Are they massively expensive? I am open to opinions / suggestions......... Thank you so very much....

I got my dress at davids bridal. It can get pretty hectic there so bring people to help you. But the dresses aren't too expensive and you can usually get a good deal! Good luck!

I got mine at David's Bridal and it wasn't that expensive. The only issue I had was with alterations they lied about the bustle and messed it up but other than that the sales associates were fabulous. I had no issues with them. I just won't get any alterations there go to a real good seamstress that charges less.

As PP stated bring some people with you because the staff tends to get pulled in every which direction and just so you have someone there with you to help you out. Also make an appt if you do plan on going to Davids on the weekends because they are really busy. I would try to go on a weekdays instead it isn't not too busy.

I got my dress at Macys but tried on dresses at Village Bridal. The dresses at Village range. I tried on one that $650 and one that was $5500. I think you can find something in your price rage just about anywhere. THe same at Macys. The dresses ranged from under 1000 and go up from there.

i shopped at davids and Village Bridal. Davids had nice dresses at great prices but service was a bit off in my book. The dresses had heavier fabric ( i wanted lace) that made me look bulkier.

I went to Village Bridal before it was Village Bridal and it was Lydia's in copaugie. It was great - they left me alone after i had all the dresses I wanted and she zipped them in me. She didn't have to 'sell' me as i am standing in a dress which made me happy. Unfort. they didn't have my exact dress there but i was so happy with the service I had them order my dress and they also were kind enough to get me the sample of my dress in just so they had it on hand. Dresses range from $650 and up and they have a pretty good selection (not huge but not small and selective).

I loved village bridal! they were reasonable and the woman i workd with (mary ellen, i think) was great - she realy knew her stuff and wasn't pushy. my mom even got her dress there too. their BM dresses were out of my price range though (there was a very pretty selection, just more than i wanted my girls to spend), and they didnt carry the alfred angelo dress i wanted.

I had a good experience at Village Bridal - the girls were very helpful and honest. The girl who helped me actually had me try on a dress that I would not have chosen on my own and it ended up being THE ONE. However, after searching at a few more places, just to be sure, I found even BETTER service and the same dress for about 80 dollars less at RENATE'S in Lindenhurst, which is where I purchased my dress. I've been to Renate's before for BM dresses, and I've been pleased every time. Horror stories from David's - although not mine. Tried Princess Bridals in Farmingdale (liked their windows, drive past everyday for work) and it was a DUMP. Don't go. Good luck!
