hi all... very very green bride here. just got engaged and am looking for dresses. my mother is in town for 2 weeks and only have that time to get the perfect dress with her help before she leaves the US again ( till the wedding next year!!! - so, no pressure!!)
I have an appointment at davids bridal in westbury.. and another in at the davids bridal in manhattan. I want this to be a nice experience even though i'm short on time to choose.
do you guys recommend one davids bridal over the other??
i've been inside the 6th ave location an it looks classy and nice but havn't had a chance to visit the long island one. Since there isnt a day to waste...is the westbury location nice?

ive only been to the Westbury store... thats where i got my dress... i had a great experience... i went during the week and it was basically empty...

I would not go to the Westbury one.
I really like the Long Island City/Astoria location.

Manhattan is light years ahead of Westbury. Don't waste your time in Westbury.
All of the sotres carry the same gowns. manhattan is bigger so it will have a better selection.

I'm going to the Westbury one this Wednesday...I want to try on the Vera Wang White dresses and they are the only DB that have them! I'm crossing my fingers for a great experience!

The Manhattan location has Vera Wang also... they have a wall dedicated to them... They look amazing online, good luck!!! :)

Definitely worth the trip! I know a lot of girls who have had great experiences there, and personally I had a GREAT experience with them when I was a MOH

I got my dress from the Westbury location. I had a great experience and this was on a Saturday when they are really packed. I had no complaints what so ever and i loved my attendant Nina. Ask for her if she is there.
Also, they have a fantastic selection, including all of the Vera gowns. So you will be just fine on a Monday.
