I've lost 20 pounds since I bought my gown and now I need to exchange it for a smaller size. I'm sure most of you know, to alter it would cost almost as much as the dress itself...
just a little worried....

Re: Davids exchange policy
From my experience with them, they are ok with exchanges - as long as everything has tags, etc. My sister exchanged her BM dress twice with no problems. And btw - good for you!!

yeah, you shouldnt have a problem. i have to return a BM dress and they said i can have a store credit so I dont think you'll have a problem getting a different dress.

Re: Davids exchange policy
I was able to exchange part of a bridesmaid dress and wound up with a credit and no hassle. I would HOPE it would be the same with wedding gowns. Good luck!

Yes I know, You don't know until you go there. When I bought my dress the girl placed a 22 waist skirt in my bag I didn't realize it until after everything was paid and brought home guess what they woud not take it back or exchange it.

which one was that? the one in westbury said they would be able to give me a store credit for my BM dress because its still in the plastic and never opened or tried on. they better not give me a problem when i go to exchange it...or they'll be dealing with a bridezilla!

Yes, but wouldn't ya know I picked the extra poofy most complicated to alter dress that no one wants to touch in fear of destruction....I don't know if it makes a difference but my flower girl is wearing the same dress and they made her exchange it for a smaller size..hers was too big!!! If Davids wouldn't alter her dress and she's a little person, what will happen to mine?
I guess we'll see what happens when I bring it by.
