David's Question

My FSIL is trying to pick out gowns and was wondering when next season's gowns come out at David's (or on their site)....any ideas?

They told me they're not sure when it will be online but the dresses have started to come in, maybe by the end of July.

Do yourself a favor...DONT go to Davids!! I had the wrost experience with them, and everyone I have talked to has had bad experiences.

I had a great experience with David's, so I don't think you should rule out going to a place just because of what you might have heard about it. The new store in Lake Grove is great - if you can make it to Suffolk, try to go there at an off-time (weekday evening or right when they open on a weekend) and you will get more personalized attention. They have some great dresses (I got a preview of the new collection in my email because I was a customer there) and the prices are very reasonable.

I got an e-mail saying that they will be online sometime at the end of this week or next week. I can't remember the exact date.

I agree that you shouldn't rule out Davids. IThe customer service does leave a bit to be desired, but they have a big selection & a lot of nice dresses. I absolutely love my dress & it was worth the bit of aggrevation they gave me.

Sorry, Colleen...I had a terrible experience with the one in Lake Grove too...

I just don't trust them...and I was just getting a BM dress. My girlfriend had 9 girls in her BP and they messed up EVERY single dress. I really don't like to say negative things about places either...its hard to please everyone....but this is ridiculous...they weren't even apologetic. And by the way...they are really pricey!! My BM dress cost $220 and they wanted $120 for alterations...when I called to make the appointment...they told me they couldn't fit me in.. Just something to think about...sorry not what you asked...

Re: David's Question

I went to david's bridal and didn't experience the best customer service but i only tried on two dresses and then left. Other then that I can't really say anything but regarding your question. As people have mentioned the preview for the next batch of gowns is going up this weekend. I am sure by July the dresses should be available.

ok well i had both types of experience. the thing with them seems they just hire anyone. i went on a saturday with no appointment and the fit me in with the sweetest most helpful girl and i went back once on a weekday and i got some girl who dumped me in a fitting room to make me do everything on my own. and the last and final time i bought my dress. i didn`t find them pricey at all considering my wedding dress was 100 off i got it for 299!! where else can you see those types of prices? so i just had t o defend the place. sorry i don`t know a thing about their new line.
