Davidsbridal for bridesmaid dresses

For those of you that ordered your bridesmaid dresses from them, how was your experience with them? Also, Which location did you go to?

I got a BM dress from there once and didnt have a problem with the actual dress. Alterations we ran into a problem at Davids Bridal because they were all booked up and the price for alterations were quite high. This was the davids bridal at the Source Mall.

i had no problems and ordered them from the westbury db. i had a great experience with them.

One of my bridesmaids pleaded with me to not go there because she had such a horrible time with alterations in another wedding she was in... Westbury location.

My sisters (MOHs), SIL, mother, and MIL (everyone except me lol) all got their dresses for my wedding there. My SIL ordered a different style dress than my sisters did. When the order was put in, the girl put it in wrong and ordered my SIL's style for my sisters...thankfully they were able to get the right dresses very quickly...there were no problems when my sis got married with her dress or our BM dresses. Just double check the orders when you get your copies to make sure....also I heard their alterations are expensive and not that great service...but their prices for BM and bridal gowns are great. I used the one in Lake Grove near the mall and the manager there is very good (she was the one who fixed the dress ordering problem).

I got my BM dress from the DB in the city. They told me it was going to be in in May and I got it in March; which is pretty quick, since I ordered it in Feb.

I'm asking my aunt to alter my dress. I've heard too many girls complain about their alterations and I think some of their prices are a little ridiculous.

I purchased a dress from DB by Smith Haven for a wedding last summer and didn't have any problems. I didn't get it altered there, though, which is where I think most of the problems come from.

My girls bought their dresses from there, but they're scattered all over the country.

For ordering they are fine... I would just go somewhere else for your alterations.

Used the one in Paramus, NJ and they were awesome. it was very clean, salespeople were helpdul and not pushy. I didn't get alterations done there..went to my local tailor. Better cost.

Source Mall and don't go on a weekend! Took them out for alterations though! Although most of my bms only needed hems b/s DB has a more 'street size' thing going on- like if u were buying a dress at Macy's u wouldn't need a million alterations- just a hem prob. And they all look just lovely. AND I was able to PERFECTLY match things like grooms' vests and FG sash.

I have had nothing but problems. They discontinued my dress without even telling me, and one of my girls didnt order and her size and name was on the registry, FM me for full details

Ive used the Westbury store, a store in Colorado, and a store in Arizona..all problems

I got my BM dresses from there and they were awesome. Soooo helpful when we went to try on, and they came in so quickly and perfect. I never used DB for alterations tho, cause I hear they suckk. I wouldn't risk it - but like i said, the dresses (including the cost) was perfect.
