THis statement bothers me:

'The stories have been told -- that's why it's time for the show to end. The reason all these people participated in each other's lives was high school. It's a bit of a contrivance to get them to try to be a part of each other's lives now.'

Why can't people still be firedns witht the people they were friends with in HS. My 5 closest friedns have been my closet freinds since elementary school and jr. high.

I guess most people are like this?

I am sad to see the show go!!!

I think that the statement is pretty true. Jen and Jack are NOT part of Joey's everyday life. Many groups of friends go their own ways after highschool. Not all, but many. They all go to different colleges, live in different states now. It is natural for them to move on. Also, the writing was getting so bad!
