Day 2 Nutrisystem

With 69 days until my wedding.....I ordered nutrisystem. It showed up on Thursday, so yesterday was my first day. The food is def. not what I'm used to, but it's only for 2 months....hopefully i can stick to it. However.......i have never in my life had heartburn until now. I went out and bought Zantac and some other stuff but OMGGGGGGGGGGG I feel like I am having a heart attack!!!!! oh the price we pay!

Aww that's not good, is the Zantac helping? Prilosec might help better if the Zantac doesn't help... it works in a different way.

But definately stick to the Nutrisystem, my mom has been doing great on it, she's lost 40lbs since she started last year! I'm sure you will do great!

yeah i know...the didn't have prilosec so i grabbed the next best thing. I'm going to get Nexium at work on monday.....I heard a few people at work did really great on it (i work in a hospital so i hardly see the people bc they are on a diff. shift ) but i heard someone lost like 50 lbs in 9 months!

Nexium is in the same class as Prilosec so that should work well too!

50lbs in 9 months, that's fantastic! I'm sure you will do great too!

I hope you can stick with it even through the heartburn. It seems to be a great weight loss system for many people. I wish you much success on it and hope your tummy feels better soon

I have been doing nutrisystem for 3 weeks now. It has been good. Food is actually really great. But I am only going to do it for 2 months too...I am def going to get sick of it quick. But it does work!!

What is in the food that's giving people these side effects?

That sounds so very wrong.

ouch...I was going to try Nutrisystem...but I heard that some people experience heart burn...I could nto deal with that and the stress of the wedding....that is why i choose to do ww...Plus you get to eat food that you normally eat..It is just portion control....

Its a good diet...I lost 20 lbs on it. I just had to stop b/c I have a very sensitive stomach and I suffered from heartburn to begin with. My dr was just concerned that it could get worse and I didn't want to go on heart burn medicine b/c I stay away from medicines at all costs.

My friend went on it and had no problems and lost 20 lbs also.

I just believe in all organic foods now. I eat right and eat natural foods and lost 20 lbs in a month. You just have to be disciplined. I went on nutrisystem b/c I didn't want to have to cook all the food and do all the food shopping. But once I started having the issues I realized my body couldn't handle it.

my friend was on it and we couldnt figure out why she was getting horrible heart burn!! this makes total sense now... all those chemicals in the proceesed foods are so bad for you!
