Deb - I am soooo proud of you. As one of those newly quitters I am glad to see someone successful! I am on day 22 of no smoking. It's still very hard not to pick one up. Physically I am fine and can be around people that smoke but when *I want* one - my brain screams for one. I was actually able to go out drinking this weekend and not smoke once!

Congrat's to you!

Re: Day 75

Thanks!
I always thought it was silly when people told me:
'you will quit when the time is right'
but I made it the right time and it was easier than I expected.

Come on, who wants to jump on the wagon with me?

I HAVE to wear the patch. Unfortunately my DH only lasted about 5 hours of nonsmoking. He smoked 2 cigarettes the first day and then bought a pack and has been going strong ever since. It's very hard to hang around him when I feel I need it ----- so I wear the patch and I get through. Thank goodness he stopped smoking in our apartment.

I'm glad to see so many ladies doing something good for themselves and their bodies!

That would be hard on me! THANK GOODNESS Darren quit the same day as me, I would have never been able to do it without him.

My DH has ZERO will power when it comes to nicotine and food ... it's very hard for him I know - but we made a pact and I expected him to try a LITTLE harder, it's frustrating. I try not to let it get to me and just focus on ME and MY NEEDS.
I'm glad Darren quit with you - that must have been a tough couple of days in the beginning with the BOTH of you quitting.
