You know.... I sat here for like 2 mins trying to think of the curling iron!!!! I did my best and called it hair curler and I knew that wasnt what it was called... wow I need to go to bed

I didn't get married yet but I recommend the following:

Extra cash, not already allocated to tips
Cell Phone
Lipstick
Advil
Tums
Safety Pins
Bobby pins
Any medications you take daily
Curling Iron or Hair Straightener
A comfortable pair of shoes even if you aren't planning on changing, just in case!
Tide Pen

If you have a DOC they will surely have all of this and more!

I had an emergency kit (thanks mom): it had all the essentials the other girls mentioned, needle & thread, double sided tape, hair spray, tampons, toothpaste, toothbrush, bobby pins, lip gloss, lip stick, band aids, pepto, advil, anti dirreaha (sp?), cold med.

I also brought my cell phone, wallet, car keys, reception sneakers, a hair tie for the end of the night, garment bag, uggs (it was the winter, and I worn them for all our outdoor photos in the snow), my wedding night lingerie, bridal sweatsuit for the morning after.

My BM had a huge emergency kit for me and all the BMs. She really thought of everything and I didn't even need all the stuff I brought. She even had chocolate in case anyone (especially me) got faint at the church. I have her master list somewhere if you want it.

my ID, not for drinks or anything but I am a believer you should ALWAYs have your ID on you
Tums for DH
Advil
Handi Wipes
Tissues
Cotton swabs and Q-Tips (wish I used them to get makeup under my eyes a few times)
tape for my dress straps
a little phone book with all my wedding contacts (just in case I had to hand it off to someone)
