Day of Coordinator

Don't have one but this is sort of a touchy subject here... I don't know how many responses you'll get on this thread but maybe some FMs.

I would recommend checking out the vendor section here and just make appointments with different coordinators.

There's TONS of posts on this on here. I think everyday...I've seen averages from $250 to $2,000. It all depends on the DOC not what time of year...(at least I don't think...) You never know!
Some charge by hour, which I think is stupid JMHO.... Some are there for more than just 'day of'.

I received quotes in the same range when I was looking - there are a lot of factors that go into the price. The person who charged $2000 maintained an office in NYC so I'm sure she has more overhead costs than someone who works out of her home, for example.

I used Elaine Deluca from Exquisite Events and she was really fantastic (there's a detailed review on Brides Review). Her prices are very reasonable considering how much she does and how much she knows (it's really incredible). I can FM you her prices if you like.

Not asking for how much but are they 500, 1000, 1500, 2000?!?! 1000-1500 obviously price depends on time of yr, the actual DOC hired, but just to get an idea?!?! people have put their band prices and such on here?!?!

First of all CHILL, there's no need to freak out... I know on the 06 board this is a sensitive matter. There was actually a girl who had her account DEACTIVEATED for mentioning who her DOC was. Didn't even say what she was spending either. So I was just merely warning you that you may not get so many posts responding to your question.

As for generalizations... I've heard to get full coordination, it can cost anywhere between 10-15% of your budget. But this is what I've heard. We're not getting one so I can't give you actual figures.

Your best bet is to put a post on the Vendors Helping Brides post. That's what I did. You will get tons of FM with prices and phone numbers/email addresses so you can set up appointments. Good luck!

My apologies... She was re-activated after much protest.

My bad.

I got an e mail from a Rosalie about Expressions events and design and she is also a DOC. I am calling her later to talk $$.

When I get info I'll be sure and tell you, I'm planning all this by myself and out of town to boot, so a day of to make sure everything runs smoothly would put my mind at ease
