Day of Coordinator???

Can anyone give me information and pricing on a day of coordinator? I got a quote in the city for $2500 and I'd like to find someone less expensive. Please let me know if you have any good recommendations.

$2500 for a DOC? That's crazy. That sounds more like full event coordination. You can definitely get one that is much more affordable. We hired Francesca of Dazzling Affairs as our DOC and she has been FANTASTIC! Please feel fee to FM me for info

Im new at this. I have been using the knot for wedding ideas, but recently started using LIweddings becuase I thought it was more localized. I really dont post much, but my FI has been very involved in choosing everything with me. I didn't called any DOC coordinators because I dont know much about it, and he thinks we dont need one so I started searching for information and thought if its not too expensive or if I hear more from other people about what kind of help they offer you that maybe I could persuade him to agree,

I guess thats the reason why I dont post much even though I understand someone doesn't know who I am, I felt kind hurt to be confused for a vendor.

if you still in the market for a DOC, you should check out Christine Viola or Hollie @ Exquisite Affairs Productions. They're both former LIW brides and are LIW vendors.

i still havent discussed again with FI if we will be having a DOC. I want to check into it , cause we are both very detail oriented but I dont want any of us to have to worry abot details the day of. I will call Christine and if her info is good and affordable I can probably convince him.
