My wedding planner is doing day of...here's the description of her day of services from her website. Should help...
• Day-Of Wedding Coordinating (up to 10 hours) including:
• Overseeing and coordinating the entire day with all vendors and bridal party, making sure that the entire event runs very smoothly and all details are accounted for
• Checking in all vendors
• Setting-up last minute décor and favors
• Facilitating the timeline
• Delivering final payments to vendors.
• Using my experience to quickly and quietly put out fires behind the scenes
• Most importantly, I am the person the bride can go to for assistance, support and to release inner her bridezilla if need be.
And I think in her Day Of package she coordinates rehearsals too. Her day of is $450 but I don't think she does LI Weddings. Hope that helps.

If I get one, it's going to be Nicole from Creative Party Works. She's an LIW Vendor and she's seriously so swee tnad so personal. I ordered 50 shower favors from her, which I needed the next day and she did it all for me, was totally friendly and totally nice, made me feel like getting the right favor for my cousin's shower was personally important to her, and like I was the ONLY bride she was dealing with, which is exactly what I want in a DOC!

How did you hear about these people? Can you guys FM me with some prices...my cousin had a wedding planner but not for the day she used her the whole time she was engaged and she was alot of $ but someone just for the day is great..

Wow alot of you are getting one.
It seems by getting a DOC things run smoother and you don't have to worry about things.
I have to put that on my list to check out.
My list is getting bigger and bigger instead of smaller and smaller.
