Are any of you having a day of coordinator? How did you go about finding one...like other vendors just meeting them all? Are they expensive? Do any of you have any good suggestions for any? TIA for any help you can give!

i am meeting with Christine from Piece of Cake Events on Sunday to see if we will be using one or not. I have to convince FH that she is necessary, lol.

I am using one. I think its totally worth it. you can use one for a half day or full day... I am using Danielle. She is GREAT and worth her weight in gold! fm me for her info! eta spelling

I just met with Ryan from Above and Beyond Events last night, and booked her on the spot!! She was wonderful to speak with, FM me if you have any questions!

My friend has an event planning business and she offered to act as my DOC for the day. I know she is going to be a big help to me the day of and she has been so helping during the whole planning process.
Not sure how much she charges normally since she is not charging me for this but the cost for a DOC depends on what exactly you want them for. Some offer full day service, some half day, and some even just hired to go to the RH, makes sure it's set up correct and that's it.

I'm using Stephanie from LI Bridal Pro. It's def worth it to have the extra hand and to let anyone with problems just talk to her instead of bothering me or mom.

I'm meeting Christine from Piece of Cake Events on Saturday- I read her reviews and they are pretty darn good. she came across very personable on the phone, so I'm really hoping I can book.
I think DOC are helpful, my SIL had one and LOVED HER- it just eases wedding day stress

I have one. i am using cynthia ross of cynthia ross affairs. she had the lowest price out of the 6 companies i spoke to. although her price was the lowest i have had the same superior service that the other companies offer. she has been great from the very begining and i have the utmost confidence that she will take care of everything on my wedding day and make sure everything turns out exactly how i want

I 3rd Chrissi from Fairy Tale Events she is the best!!!!! She is a LIW vendor, she is the sweetest person and the most reasonable for what she offers.
