Day of Flip Flops Question

Hi
I was so excited that i found my shoes they have a 3 inch heel..i was thinking that i would stay in them all night but its a long day..
i was going to look into purchasing flip flops but should they be 3 inch wedge too since that is what my dress will be heemed to?
all i can find are 2.5 or 3.5?
what do you suggest?
keep looking or is it better to go with the higher flip or the lower flip flop?

I thinl the 2.5 will be fine. I'm planning on getting a lowish heel and changing into comverse at the reception. I think it'll be ok.

I actually wanna be married in converses but the FH doesn't want me in them for the church. Afterwords he is okay with it.

I bought the ones from Old Navy and my mom wrapped satin ribbon around the front straps and made a big bow in front with a rhinestone. They look just like the ones on etsy. I say 2.5' as I rather the dress be touching the floor than have people see your toes. It also depends on the dress.
