Day of Hair

Day of Hair

Ok, so is it me or is the price to have your hair done day of rediculous. I called around places in my area and very few places will even come to your house unless you can guarantee like 5 people. I'm not having a big bridal party so can't guarantee it. The girl who does my hair at the salon charges 150. I almost fell off my chair when she told me, but she will charge me 110. I've been going to her for a few years so figured she would have dropped the price alot more. For a trial it would be 100. They also do makeup there too but I have no idea fi they are any good or not and she won't come to the house. The bridal party will be 65 and up depending on how long their hair is and the thickness she said. I'm thinking of giving another place I called a try bc they will come to the house even just to do 2 people, but I so don't feel like dropping 100 for a trial and then hating it. Does it pay to go to 2 try out 2 places? Also, is it too much to run to the salon that day to get this all done rather then someone coming to the house?

I might end up going to the salon..it isn't too far from my house and I think it might be more organized. i don't see the big deal.

I'm going to my regular person and I'm going to go to the salon. I have no idea what shes gonna charge me actually. Unfortunately everythings more expensive when you're the bride

Re: Day of Hair

Trials usually run less than $100 (I paid $50 for mine) but the average for wedding day hair (bride)is $150-$200. Unfortunately anything with 'wedding' attached to it is always more !!!!
There is one vendor here (I think it's the Pedala sisters) who give free trials but to hire them for the day of is more expensive than the average...
