i just called my hair place to make an appointment for a trial. the girl doing my hair the day of will be on maternity leave starting next Saturday until probably a week before my wedding. that means no trial!!! i set up an appointment for a consultation for this Saturday. the only opening she has. i can't even do a trial because i don't have a veil or headpiece yet. she has done my hair before but i am still nervous.

Is there any way you can borrow a headpiece or something similar to what you're thinking of wearing, or get a cheap veil really quickly (or again borrow one). I would be really nervous about having it done with no trial, even if the person had done my hair before--wedding hair is different from every day hair.

i figure i will see how the consultation goes on Saturday & since she is still working next Saturday, I guess I can try to get an appointment then if I am still uneasy.
