Day of Jewelry...how did you decide?

I'm so stuck on this decision ....I have 2 pairs of earrings, and love both. One pair more understated, and the other pair more blingy. My dress has more detail/sparkle on top, so originally I was planning on just wearing earrings, bracelet and of course my rings. Now I'm thinking maybe I should wear a necklace, so I would wear the smaller earrings. I don't want to regret not wearing a necklace.

Side note: my hair comb is blingy as well, and goes across top of my head, so it will be seen and I'm not wearing the veil at my reception.

Ahhh, I know this is long. How did you decide what you are want (or wanted) to wear??

I haven't gotten a dress yet so I'm not sure about my necklace, but I'm having all my jewelry made for me. I'm using pearls that I've collected over the years to make my earrings (and possibly a necklace). The earrings will have the pearls in the center and a circle of diamonds around them to match my e-ring. I'm not doing a bracelet because I honestly never wear them anyway. Depending on my dress, I may have a necklace made with a pearl from my grandmother's necklace and a diamond from my great aunt's engagement ring. I'm a big jewelry girl, so it was one of those things I thought of right away. I would bring the jewelry you want to wear to your next fitting - that should help you decide

I have a headband, necklace, and earrings. The jewelry is decently simple as I didn't want to take away from the dresses simple elegance. I also am not wearing a bracelet cause I want my rings to really shine in the pics! HTH!

Why not wear one style during the ceremony and the more blingy for the reception

This is very hard. I'm picking out jewelry from a specific company that I've had my eye on for a long time but that's really really specific to me because I already have this vision in my head of everything but earrings actually.
Your dress is gorgeous!!! I think you could get away with bling-ier earrings with that dress.

I'm also unsure about jewelry.

I have a particular earring-look in my head and had been searching for earrings for months! I didn't know if it would exist. I finally found it while reading someone else's wedding review here and searching for where she got her earrings. I was about to order it, but then, I measured the dimensions with a ruler and they're much bigger than I thought they would be! Like huge!

Now I don't know what to do, get the earrings that I've wanted that turn out to be bigger than expected or to go with a more simple, more traditional, smaller earring.

They only sell it online so I'd have to buy it (with no returns) and test it out or not get it at all. Even though I've wanted it for a long time, and it exists, I don't know what to do, I'm a bit hesitant.

It's a hard decision to make.

What about taking a picture of these earrings to a local jeweler? They may have something similar or be able to custom make them.
