So I thought I had the jewelry I wanted to wear the day of my wedding... Until my first fitting when I tried it on with the dress and it didn't work at ALL!
Thomas Knoell was at Kleinfelds. He showed me a gorgeous pair of earrings but it was over 300 bucks!
My dress was pretty expensive and I know that 300 is alot of money but everyone is telling me that the jewelry isn't where I should cheap out.
Did anyone else splurge on jewelry?? If so.. anyone go with thomas knoell? I only plan on doing earrings.. no bracelet or necklace because my dress has a lot of crystals.
Any advice would be great!

Re: Day Of Jewlery Question
I got some very nice earrings at Estelles.. I think Thomas Knoell is really pricy. Nice stuff... but you can def. go cheaper especially if its not something you would wear often. I have my own jewelry line and will be doing a bridal line.. but not till next year. You can def. check out some individual sellers on etsy too

Re: Day Of Jewlery Question
Im just nervous that Im going to buy somthing again and then it won't match my dress.. it's hard to tell unless you see everything together.
Thanks for the tips though.. Any other bridal salons or places I should check out for jewelry?

I splurged on my DOJ...I went to Bridal Styles and loved it. If you bring a picture of your dress they can help you find a perfect piece. They're a bit pricey, but have things that are gorgeous and in-budget also.

Hmmm.. I dunno! I guess if you can't tell without being there at the dress shop... then maybe its best for you to just splurge for piece of mind?? I dunno! I would think just print a pic out and take it jewelry shopping with you? Otherwise, I guess go for what they have at the shop

Re: Day Of Jewlery Question
I bought my earrings, bracelet and hair comb from Thomas Knoell and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
If you are only going to wear the earrings that day and never again...I would hesitate on buying them BUT if you can wear them for years to come with a little black dress or even a sexy top and jeans, I'd say go for it!

Re: Day Of Jewlery Question
I'm sure I can wear the earrings again. They are beautiful chandelier type earrings.
I think I may just order it and call it a day.
I don't even feel like doing any research anymore!
The problem is.. my dress has swarovski crystal embellishments along the bust.. and a lot of jewelry takes away from it instead of complimenting it... It has to have the right shine that matches the crystals.
Where is Bridal Styles?

Re: Day Of Jewlery Question
That is too funny. I have the exact same issue with my dress. I wonder if it is the same pair of earrings he suggested for me...The best part about them is that they are double-sided but then again I like to rationalize spending $. LOL
he will be changing it to the clear crystal color and without the pearl

Re: Day Of Jewlery Question
if those are the Gladys earrings, then I wore those for my wedding too! But I changed to clear crystals and no pearls. i wore that with a TK bracelet. it was soooooo worth the money in my opinion. the jewelry sparkled so much, and you can see how much they stand out in all my pictures.
i also bought earrings for my BMs and MOB. if you look in my review, you can see all of those.
