Day of Make up time- HELP

Day of Make up time- HELP

I just recieved my make up contract and i read that there is a 20 dollar charge for every half hour, which got me thinking i have no idea what time of day i will need my make up done, can someone please help.
The church is at 3:00 (and is 2 min from my house) The limo is comming to my house 2:15 -2:30.
My concern is i did not book a hair person yet and this could effect time if i decided to go to a salon or if someone comes to the house. Plus how long does it usually take to apply make up(airbrush) Im lost help. Thanks girls!!

You should ask your makeup person how long she expects to take on you and the girls. I believe most spend about 1 hr on the bride and 30 minutes on a bridesmaid or MOB. Going to a salon for your hair will make the process a lot longer but if you have a hair person come to your house it will be quicker because while you're getting your hair done, someone else can be getting makeup done and vice versa. You should also coordinate with your photographer. You want to be somewhat ready when they arrive.

My hair/makeup people both told me to do hair before makeup. I asked how long everyone needed and then gave them a little extra time. I'm not having airbrush but my makeup guy asked for an hour and a half so I saved 2 hours. My hair usually takes about an hour so I allowed almost 2.
