Hi, everyone! I'm starting to think of locations to take first look and bridal party pictures before my July 2013 wedding at the Watermill. I know the usual suspects... Old Westbury Gardens and The Planting Field Arboretum. Does anyone know other locations that I can look into? Nassau/Suffolk county is just fine, but nothing too far past Smithtown, as I'll be getting ready in the Hicksville area.
I'm looking into the Vanderbilt Museum in Centerport.

THIS!!! And there is a beach down the road from there if you want beach photos.
You can take photos in the parks and on the docks in Northport village (I don't believe there is a fee).
If you are looking for a park you can check out Blydenburgh Park or Caleb Smith.
Or check out the gardens at SUNY Farmingdale.
