FH and I are getting married at 12pm and are planning to do pictures before the ceremony since we don't want to miss our cocktail hour. Our schedule is tight, so we need to find some place close to our reception hall in Babylon to take pictures.
I saw on a map Argyle Park and Venetian Shores Park (beach) and was thinking these may be good options. Has anyone taken their pictures at either place or planning to? Do either of these places require permits?
Or, do you have recommendations for other nearby locations for pictures?

I live near Argyle Park and see wedding parties taking pics there aaaallllll the time! It's a beautiful place for pics. I actually am kind of bummed that we're getting married so far out east, because I would love to take pics there. I don't know if you need a permit, but your photographer will probably know.

pretty much this, pictures are taken there all the time! there is a bridge type thing with steps and waterfalls Abd it sits on a lake, and there also is a gazebo across the st on the canal.

My grandfather used to take me to Argyle park to feed the ducks all the time when I was a little girl.. We used to see brides there all the time! It's such a beautiful place for pictures..

My future uncle lives on Argyle lake and it's so pretty. Pictures in the front would be lovely
The beach at Venetian isn't that great and to its nice out it will be packed with kids because there is a water park there

The Babylon Village website says you don't need a permit to take pictures at Argyle....hope that helps!
