'day of' question for past brides

08er crashing and i would appreciate any advice!

For the day of - my family and my side of the BP will be over for pictures. Two of FH's nieces are in my BP as a Jr BM and FG. Do you think it is okay if the girls get ready with FH at HIS house and then just MY 'side' gets ready at my house to avoid total chaos?

We have about 3 hours between the church and reception so I think that should be enough time to get FULL bridal party pictures out of the way. AND at my house we can get all family pictures out of the way.

What do you think? Should I have them come to the house OR should I meet them at teh church where they will arrive with FH.

I am also worried about freaking out ( I have terrible anxiety ) and I kind of don't want them to see that and think it has something to do with FH. . . .

I had DH's niece as a JR BM and she came to my house... I honestly think you should have them with you.. They are going to be your family too!
Typically- any WP I've been part of, it's been all the girls at one house and all the boys at the other house [not including father of the bride, mother of the groom, etc...]

yeah that presents another issue - my brother is in the BP and i want him to get ready with me LOL i am such a brat

and his neices are a little bit out of control and they would have to be there with their mother. . .

ha ha i know i am being a brat. . . i just really want MY people around me while I am getting ready. . .

i am just trying to figure out if it will cause problems with picture taking etc.

honestly---when you are getting ready, you need to be around the ppl that YOU want to be around--otherwise its just too much going on! i think its okay to say you want to get ready with your side of the family and he gets ready with his side.......because you need ppl around you that make you feel comfortable and relaxed.

they have their regular hair lady coming to FH's house so they are getting it done there. . .

yeah i guess this is one of those things that i already kind of decided but needed reassurance on. . .

i want to be able to freak out and break down without 'witnesses' know what i mean? LOL

i dont want it to become some big story about how i broke down before the wedding and FH hears about it.
