I need your help ladies. I need a day of timeline. Who should get hair/ makeup done at what time etc... I am so on my own clock ( I know that is awful). I am always late or just on time. FH always says if your early your on time, if your on time your late. So as you can see I need your help. TIA!!!!!!! Info: Ceremony starts at 3pm Photographer wants us all done hair and makeup by 1:30pm I am not suppose to get into my gown until the arrive. Everyone else needs to be dressed. Mom and MOH are getting ready with me at my parent's house. Just MOH no bridesmaids.
So what time do I get hair and make up done? MOH? My Mom?
I just want to have an outline to see if what the hair stylist and makeup girl are telling me is accurate. Also what time should they get into their gowns? I am sure I will be up at 5am if I even ever go to sleep.
THANKS!!!!

Re: Day of Schedule?
my ceremony also started at 3pm and I went to the hair salon with my MOH, jr. bridesmaid, two flower girls and we started at 11am. At first I was afraid I should start at 10:30 but we had enough time. It depends b/c my hair dresser did myself, flower girls and my moh. another hair girl did my junior bridesmaid and thankfully we didn't bring the whole bridal party there. I got back to Kings Point about 1:20pm and all the girls were ready to go b/c we had said meet at Kings POint at 1230. Keep in mind how far the hair place is from where you will put on your dress, my hair place was 20 minutes away. It was great though b/c all the girls were there and all I had to do was put my dress on shoes and jewelry and I was good to go. The photographer said so many times the bridesmaids are no where to be found... all the girls helped me and I was in my dress in two minutes, they were fabulous. If you have any questions let me know! Enjoy!!!

Well said. Allow yourself a bit of extra time if you always run late. Not a bad thing if you have 30 minutes to lounge around AFTER your hair-make-up is done until you have to get into your dress. You don't want to be rushing around and getting flustered.

Re: Day of Schedule?
I also had the same ppl get hair and make up done with me, my mom and MOH. DO you have a separate make up artist and hair stylist or is it 1 person doing both. If you have a separate person for each, then while one person gets hair done another one can get make up done. It takes 1 hour for make up and another hour for hair so each person needs 2 hours, BUT if you have a separate vendor for MU and hair then that cuts down on time and will take 3 hours total to get yours, your mom and MOH hair and make up done.
They came at 10am and we started right away. I got hair first and at the same time my mom got her make up done. Then i had a break, while MOH got make up done and my mom got her hair done, then i got my make up done last. By 1pm we were all done, maybe even finished earlier actually but thats bc my mom didnt do anything hard with her hair and took less time. My ceremony was at 2:30pm and limo came to pick us up at 2pm and we were all done and ready by then, i even had a little time to relax.
I would go by what the hair stylist and mu artist say, they know how long it takes them and they do this all the time so they know how much time they need.

Re: Day of Schedule?
thank goodness we dont have to drive any where. there is one hair stylist coming to my mom's house as one make up artist. the two of them will get all three of us ready. thanks for the advice. i defin want to have my make up done last too. i am thinking it would be best for me to be all done by 1pm. and just waiting to get into my dress. that way everyone else can get dressed.

thats exactly how it worked for me. So if you start at 10am you will be done by 1pm, you can even do 9:30 but either or you will be done. I also was able to have a photo session alone with my photographer after i had make up done and before i got dressed, and then waited until 1:30 or even a little after to get dressed. If theres 3 of you and its 2 separate vendors then it will take 3 hours to get all of you done
