Day of time line - HELP!!!

Day of time line - HELP!!!

I'm starting to stress about our day of timeline. We are getting ready at my brother's house which is a 5 minute drive from our RH. But we are supposed to be going by boat (as long as the weather is good) - my brother's house is on the water with the boat right in the backyard . By boat, it will take about 20 mins to get to the RH. We are doing pics before hand. Our ceremony starts at 11:30. Hair and makeup are starting at 7:00 and photog scheduled to arrive at 9:00. So, we have about 2 hours for pics. We were just going to do pics at my brother's house, but I would love to take pics at the arboretum in Great River, which is also a 5 minute car ride from brother's house. That would mean getting to the arboretum, taking pics, and then back to the house to get on the boat to get to the RH. Am I crazy???? Should I ask the photog to come a little earlier. Do you know how long hair and makeup take in the day of? (Its just for me - BMs are not getting hair and makeup done). Should I start hair and makeup a little earlier. Or should I just forget about the aroboretum pics?

TIA!

If it's nice make the time to take pics in the arboretum, mine came out beautiful there! But just a heads up I you don't already know you need a permit to photograph in there..I think it's $100 or $200 for it. I don't want you to get there and then be turned away!

Would it be possible to not take the boat to the RH, since it's such a close drive? I think photos are so important, that I would definately go to the other location to take them, and if needed, just take a car there and use the extra 20 minutes to get photos.

Thanks. Yes, I know about the permit. (it's $100) I contacted them yesterday and they told me that my date is 'available' and that we could get in to take pics as early as 9:30.

I agree that photos are so important- but FH is so psyched to arrive by boat. I could never take that away from him. (Plus I would like to do it too). We are also going to a private little island/beach across the bay from the RH, to take pics - but that will be during the CH. So, originally I didn't think we needed another location, but the arboretum is so pretty and would love to be able to fit that in also.
