Day of Wedding Coordinator

Has anyone looked into getting one?

what are they expected to do?

what should be included in there fee?

how much does it cost??

Whe would you reccomend?

I am using Francesca from Dazzling Affairs, though she is my planner so I cant help with cost for a DOC.
I think that basically they help you though out the day with any issues that come up...keep you on a time schedule and keep everything moving in an orderly fashion

I had originally been planning from SC, so we got one. She has set up appointments with the different vendors she recommends as well as the ones I wanted to see. I have gotten discounts with certain vendors for using her. Its also, I feel alot easier to walk out without booking right then with her there b/c I feel bad saying ok well call you, she does it for me
She has kept me on track as far as getting things done and reminding me that I have to do certain things and when. Also, b/c most planners have worked at the halls and churches they know what kind of options or things that are included that you may not be aware of. She made it easy to go over contracts and time restraints and helped clock out how things should go.

Good Luck if you get one, make sure to meet with them before you book. I love Francesca and really I know that on the day of I wont have to worry about a thing.

I have Fran from Dazzling Affairs too! but as my DOC.... and I feel that I have a Full Service Wedding Planner for the price of a DOC!

I used Rosalie as my DOC , she was fantastic...she my review. She was helpful even before the day of---which she was hired for.
They range in price and since I booked so long ago, I wont quote my price, im sure it has gone up.

I haven't had much contact with her yet as I just booked her. however, she has been really nice thus far. she will even let you know if you need a DOC or not.

Please research all vendors for DOC. There are tons on here that are dissapointments and the reviews confirm that. However, there are a few that actually think outside of the box and can give you ur money's worth.

MY DOC IS MAKING MY INVITES ,LABELS AND ALL ..1/2 THE PRICE ..ALSO SHE WILL BE IN CHRGE OF THE REHERSAL AND ALSO GETTING MY CAKE AND FLUTES AND CNTRPIECES AS WELL AS DECORATING THE CHURCH.. SHE HAS WHAT SHE CALLS A LOVE OFFERING NO SET PRICE .. WOW.. I LUCKED UP WITH HER
