How much time do you have between church and cocktail hour? I only have about a half an hour between my church and CH and i dont want to miss my cocktail hour for pictures but I don't know what else to do! Is anyone else dealing with a similar situation and has some ideas on how to get pictures done but not miss too much of CH?
I'm having the ceremony at the RH and going straight into cocktail hour. We're doing an unveiling and pics beforehand. I liked the idea of not seeing eachother until I walk down the isle, but I also liked the idea of having our own private moment where we turn around and see eachother, and dont' have to worry about everyone else :) And cameras will catch it! It's all so short, I don't want to miss any of it.

So both of you girls are doing a 'reveal' before the ceremony. I am thinking about doing that too..my ceremony at church starts at 1030 am...cocktail hour is from 1130-1 (they are 5 minutes driving time in distance)
I was thinking about seeing if my RH will let us do the reveal there so we can take pics outside in the gardens around 9 am..then make it to church by 10 am...this way we dont have to rush out of church to make it to my RH to take pics..and we can relax a nd enjoy. What do you girls think?
Also, to get to RH by 9 am..the limos would have to pick us up by 8am...whcih means we would have to wake up super early to get hair and makeup! Do most makeup artists and hair dressers work tis early? And will they come to your house that early?
We are getting married at the RH too. We are doing the pics (most of them) before the ceremony too. My makeup girl is coming at 6am! poor thing!! I do not want to miss my wedding! We wil be pulled out for some pics but the majority can be taken between 9am and 10:30 am.
I am so thankful to see the way you girls are doing things. It seems like getting pics done before the ceremony is the best bet! Thanks!
