Daycare....

does anyone know what it takes to open your own daycare? i cant find any info online...who would i contact?

I'm not sure. Do you have certification in early childhood. I would think that would be one of them. I've always wanted to open up one too.

im in the process of getting certified...i know someone that never went to college and has her own home daycare so im not even sure what they expect

Really. Wow! I would think you would at least need that. Have you ever seen daddy day care. Do any of those rules apply? Did you check the state website? There may be info there.

All I know is that there are licensing requirements for day cares that are state specific. I'd do some google searches for info on the web.

I'm pretty sure you'll need to be certified in CPR and some sort of First Aid, too.

Try some google searches for day care licensing in NY and see what comes up.
