Just curious... I live in North Carolina (Raleigh area), and for Daycare here, it costs from $700-$1000 a month in a facility. How are the costs up there? Thank goodness my parents will be living here by next week. They can help out with at least PT daycare.

I live upstate NY in the country and it's only like $500 a month. Wahooo...one good thing about living in the boonies. Too bad the day care providers have no teeth.

Depends on the childs age. I work at a preschool and we take children starting at 2.9...full time its about 600 per month, but I know thats an older age.

The one we will eventually go with will chanrge about $1200/month..depends on how many hours in the day & age of child. WE are willing to pay this based on the level of care/teaching that they will offer.
