Days like today are the reason I am a teacher.

When you're off all summer and dread going back, it's so easy to forget those amazing little moments that make you SO happy you're a teacher. Today I was lucky enough to have a few of those moments. I swear I just wanted to cry because my kids are so cute. Just a little example of how cute my kids are: I was teaching a third grade class and we were doing music trivia with instrument sounds, so this one little girl raised her hand to answer the question, or so I thought, and she said, 'Miss Rxxxxx, you're toe nails are SO BEAUTIFUL!' It was so cute. I guess my red nails would look beautiful to a little girl And during a music theory class with my junior high kids, one of the girls who was complaining last week about not needing to know this stuff said to me, 'You know, Miss Rxxxxx, I FINALLY get this stuff. It's times like this that I realize how much you know about music!' And then she gave me a hug. I mean, it just doesn't get any better than that!

it is so cute!!!!! the other day it was so hot i had my hair back in a clip... after awhule I took it out and the girls go.. oooohhhh you're hair looks beautiful down...

also the other day i was reading a story to them. they clapped at the end!! how cute is that!!!

Awww! Great stories, ladies! I love teachers!!!!!

That is ADORABLE! My little girls always comment on my hair and I LOVE LOVE LOVE when they all get excited over something that really isn't so exciting all because I make it SOUND like it's exciting

Some of my girls asked me to be their Dance Club Advisor!!!
Sure, I can't dance...but I can supervise!

Aww, I love days like that!

I was at back to school night tonight - it made me want my own classroom and my own students so bad!
