Days off before your wedding..

How many days off are you and FH taking from work before the wedding?

Wedding was on the 16th.... we both took off from the 13th on

Wedding is on a Sunday and I'm taking off Friday. I'm using so many days for the honeymoon. I don't have many more days that I could use plus this is our really busy time and I'm sure my boss won't approve any more!

My wedding was on Sunday and I took off from Wednesday.

I took off the entire week before our Friday wedding but we did a lot of DIY and our RD was Wed.

my wedding was a Saturday.. i was supposed to take a half day Thurs & be off on Fri.. but i wound up working all day Thursday and coming in Fri AM to tie up some loose ends before leaving for a 2 week honeymoon

I'm not sure what FH is planning on doing, but I am planning on taking off the Thursday and Friday before our Saturday wedding (rehearsak will most likely be on Thursday).

I did summer intensives until July 8th of last year os about 3 weeks before and then I have 1 month and 2 weeks after.

DH took off 1 week before and went back to work for 2 days and then took off 2 weeks for our HM and our move.

My last day of work is this Sunday, wedding is NEXT FRIDAY (OMG!), then I'm off until 9/25! (26 days total) Woo Hoo!!! But I've been saving my benefit time up for this.

Our wedding was on a Saturday. I was supposed to take the Thursday and Friday before off but we ended up having a death in the family. I went into work on Monday giving my people the heads up of a wake/Funeral at some point and they told me not to come back to work until after the honeymoon. It was for a socky reason but it was nice to have the extra time off. I got to spend some extra time with my family especially my dad. He wouldn't let me go to the wake b/c it ended up being the day before the wedding. But from Tuesday to Thursday he took me around to get the last minute things and even came with me to pick up my dress which meant the world to me! We went to lunch together a few times with my parents. I wouldn't have given that time up for the world.

As odd as it sounds I ended up being more stress free even with the family death. was kinda odd. I think it was the comfort of being able to spend more time with my family which I wouldn't have had if I only took Thursday & Friday off.

I'm not taking any time before my wedding but I am taking off the 2 weeks after my wedding. Can't wait!!!

My wedding is the Friday after Thanksgiving...

we get a 1/2 day on the Wed..
I'm taking probably just the Tues too... so 1 1/2

Im planning on taking 1 week before and 1 week after. FH and I will be honeymooning a few months later so I will take another 2 weeks then.
One perk of my job is basically 5 weeks vaca!
