Are any of you stay in your wedding gown if you had guests stay with you and FH at the hotel? Or will you change? And if so, into what and what color?

our reception ended at 5, we had an afterparty at the OOT hotel. we stayed there until 10:30 and then went to our own hotel.
DH and I stayed in our wedding clothes. most of my local friends stayed in their wedding clothes; most of our friends staying at the hotel changed.
edit: in my non-pro album we have some after party pictures and you can see what people wore
editx2: we were crammed into my parents car with lots of misc reception stuff and i lost my shoes in the madness, so i wore sorority flip flops to the afterparty

i changed into one of my HM dresses. I didnt feel like hanging out in a bar in my wedding dress; we were all staying at the hotel so pretty much everyone changed.

Oh I am staying in my gown until FH makes me take it off I wanted to go bowling in it afterwards!!!!

we are going to a bar afterwards, not in the hotel, and I am wearing my wedding dress. I have always wanted to walk into a bar wearing my wedding dress. You bet your asssss I am keeping it on.

I kept mine on at the hotel and everyone else changed except for DH and my sister (MOH). I didn't want to take it off! I still want to get back into it!

I got married in the afternoon and DH's family threw an after party. I changed into a white dress with pink flowers instead of wearing my dress. I wanted to be comfortable and the back panel of my dress was killing me when I got home. You can stay in your gown or get a cute new outfit.

We are having an afterparty at the hotel. I am a comfy kinda girl so I know I will not want to be in my big heavy gown sitting on a bar stool. I got this BM dress for the afterparty in pearl white..Jordan

I kept mine on til it was time to go to bed...I just didn't want to take it off!! Everyone else changed- even DH but I just couldn't do. It's the only time you wear it- so you might as well stay in it as long as possible!
