Daytime Wedding

So the groom's family (and groomsmen) are from NJ. We are having a daytime wedding in Long Island at Floral Terrace and an after party at the hotel bar. Guests are booking hotels rooms to stay over after the wedding. So, do the groomsmen have to also book a hotel room the day before to get ready and get to the church on time the day of? that can get expensive. Any other suggestions?

We had a daytime wedding and the groomsmen got ready at their own houses and then met up with DH at our house for pics.

Yeah, but the groomsmen are from out of town (NJ) so it might be hard to get ready at home and make it to the church on time (1030)

since it is an out of state wedding for them then they will have to stay the few days and it gets expensive.

i would tell them to get dressed in NJ and leave the house by 8 so they get there on time

For my wedding we got a suite and everyone is getting ready there regardless if they are staying in the hotel or not. I'm afraid they will be a wrinkled mess by the time they drive in. (Got a few people from NJ & NYC)

I left it up to my bridal party but asked them to get to me by a certain time. Some of the BMs will stay in my suite with me...others don't live too far, but will travel over an hour to get there.

Yeah thats a good idea.. I can get a suite for everyone.. or just give them the option

My dad was In NJ and he arrived early to the RH (around 10:30) for pictures and stuff. He was practical ready, he just change his shirt and put on his tie in the RH.
