Daytime wedding at East Wind (or any other daytime brides)

Daytime wedding at East Wind (or any other daytime brides)

I just discovered this website and am loving it already!

I was wondering if you ladies can help me out. I am a night time person and would love to have a night time wedding, but due to some family circumstances our wedding must occur during the day. We are having a sunday wedding at East Wind in the Estate room and was wondering if any other brides have been married in that room during the day. I would love to give the room a more evening feel with some up lighting and create a party atmosphere. Has anyone else used up lighting during the day and is it worth it (aka can it even be seen?)? Thanks!

Hello!! I know a girl who got married there during the day! I dont believe the uplighting would be worth it because there are no curtains on those windows! I am getting married in there too! I love it!!

I'm getting married during the day but not at east wind. My room has blinds on one side that can black out the room so it can feel like nighttime.

I was at a day wedding yesterday (not at East Wind) and the ballroom was very bright with lots of windows. They had uplighting and you could definitely see it, the lights shot up against the wall between each window. I personally didn't care for it, it just didn't fit the bright, airy feel of the room.
