Re: daytime wedding question
YES we are doing uplighting. We will draw the shades in our room for the full effect!

Re: daytime wedding question
I am having a daytime wedding and not using lighting...I want it to have a garden party kind of feel since there are huge windows right over the lake.
I also cant really justify another big expense like that because we are saving for a house too

We also do not plan on using any lighting.

I am using uplighting only becasue it is included in the hall package. I am not paying for any lighting whatsoever lol to try and cut down on costs.

Re: daytime wedding question
I am going to be using lighting but only because the RH has LCDs built in already- but I wouldn't have paid extra for a daytime wedding.

Re: daytime wedding question
I'm just worried that with no lighting it won't have that party feel to it and everyone will just be sitting there.

I asked the same question a while back. Check out this thread -- some people posted pics of how their uplighting looks.
IMO, it depends on the RH and how much natural light there is in the room. We picked our place because of the big windows and the view, so we're not doing uplighting.
Thank you!!!!!!!!

No we aren't paying extra for it. Our DJ Actually told us there was no point, and he wasn't gunna try to sell it to us just to sell it to us and make an extra buck like a lot of other companies do.

Same here! One major factor I fell in love with my hall is the lighting!

Exactly what my DJ said! There's a skylight and a bunch of windows so he told us it doesn't make sense. I guess depending on your room, it might be fun sitll

Yea if it has no windows or shades then I could see it working, but if there is natural light flooding in no point.

Umm at first i was thinking no lighting at all..but when i saw on youtube a dj at my RH and they had lighting but it was not that bad so im thinking about doing it ..just not going overboard
