I HAVE POSTED TWO MESSAGES ON THE VENDOR BOARD AND NO RESPONSE. IS ANYONE USING A REALLY GOOD LIMO COMPANY OR CAN YOU RECCOMMEND ONE???? SEEMS LIKE THEY ARE THE BIGGEST RIP-OFF OUT OF THIS ENTIRE PLANNING PROCESS!!! THEY HAVE SUCH CHEAPER RATES FOR PROMS AND NIGHT OUT ON THE TOWNS INSTEAD OF WEDDINGS
ANY AND ALL HELP WOULD BE GREAT!!!!!

Re: dazed and confused about limo companies>>>>help
This is one area where I'm completely clueless. What really is the difference? I'm thinking price and types of cars. Is that it? I don't even know where to begin. M&V Limos is just around the corner from my house so I'm thinking we'll just go with them.

Thanks for all your help...... Keep them coming. I heard good things about Royality too, but they ( I have a price sheet someplace) are pretty expensive..... Well see.

We are using Sir Oliver. We got the 20 passanger Excalade. They are so nice and Their Escalade was So CLEAN. Royalty's wasnt that nice IMO. It was kind of dirty and had scuff marks all over the door. But at the same time I used Royalty for my Prom YEARS ago and they where great. Good Luck.

Re: dazed and confused about limo companies>>>>help
I did a pretty extensive limo search and they are honestly all pretty much the same give or take $50. There's usually a little room for negotiation.

We decided to use Mayfair Limo in East Northport. The cars are spanking new and the price was right (although FH handled this research, so I can't give anyone the numbers).

We are using M&V. So far they have been great. You will hear some negative comments about them Ill be honost with you, but I got a great feeling from them and I went with it. We wanted a really old car that they had and we took it. We also are getting our tuxes invitations and maybe favors from them. 20% discount if you book the limos with them. The wedding planner is AWESOME. She is a 'new' bride herself and has been doing it for some time now. zthey too are right around the corner so it was also convient for us too. GOOD LUCK.

Do you have to visit each Limo vendor - I'm clueless also? And do you have to tell them it's for a wedding, I guess so right?

Re: dazed and confused about limo companies>>>>help
We used Royalty and were very happy with the service, cars, drivers, price, etc.
I basically called a bunch of limo companies and asked them the same questions (prices, ot rates, is the car stocked, runner included, etc.).
Royalty met all of our criteria, they were not that from the pick-up spots and had a good reputation. They were recommended by SMCC and they had the lowest prices.
So we went there, checked out the cars one Saturday afternoon and were satisfied with everything and booked them.

.. My family has been using them for over 10 years and I've used them for several occassion (airport/clubbing/shows)...I also used them for my engagement party for aftewards when I took my bridal party/friends to the Hamptons/NYC.. they were right on time and never gave us a hard time when we made the poor driver take us all over the place...all the drivers are the nicest ppl and the services is Impeccable!

Absolutely, you don't want a beat down looking car coming to pick you up when you were promised something good. Meet with EVERY vendor, ease your mind.......
