DB in Massapequa

Have anyone ever used Davids Bridal in Massapequa for alterations?!?!?! Thats where I got my dress from and I need to start fittings but i can't afford to spend a fortune. Any reviews/recomondations

My mom did and they came out better then I thought they did. The lady was extrewmly friendly.

my SIL got my nieces FG dress altered there... she said they were great... except that the alterations cost as much as the dress...

I did for a bridesmaid dress and a friend for her wedding gown. She loved them. Raved that they were accommodating and took the heavyness of her gown off of her shoulders and put it on her hips. Much more comfortable. Go for it! Much cheaper and still good.

so not what i wanted to hear lol the closer the wedding get the lower the bank account is getting

I got a bridesmaid dress altered there for a friends wedding last year. they did an okay job. there were a lot of little threads and the dress was still a littl be but nothing to really complain about. My friends wedding dress came out prefect. She had a different person alter her dress then I did.

this was one of my problems with them they dont have a cap on alterations. I had an old wedding dress altered at the one in lake grove and it cost a ridiculous amount and I wound up never getting to wear the dress anyways that was one reason I didnt go look at dresses there this time.

They have a cap on wedding gown alterations when the dress is purchased there. I don't know how much it is though.

They have a cap on wedding gown alterations when the dress is purchased there. I don't know how much it is though.

I got my dress, and all my bridesmaid dresses from there and we all did the alterations there. They did an OK job. I wouldn't give them an A+ by any means. They are kind of pricey as well.

i got my alterations done at a DB closer to my home, not that particular store, but they were cheaper and the staff was super friendly.

My mom did, as well as my younger sister...

They both were very pleased with the work and said that everyone was very friendly and helpful... but the cost was higher than they though it should be.
