It looks like an imminent move to DC is happening (in the next 3 weeks...)
I'm slowly realizing that I'm going to be a LDB...and I need HELP!!
Any of you ladies know of a good seamstress in DC? I think I've found my dress but I need to have fittings in DC (when the time comes)...

Meghan...I don't know of a seamstress...but why don't you try to buy the dress here. That is what I am in the process of thinking about. I just looked in LI and now looking here. Trying to decide which place is better to buy in.

I don't know of a seemstress, but we have a fabulous Macy's bridal here and also a couple of great bridal boutiques. You could buy it here. Don't worry, it will all come together. Congratulations on your move. DC is great!

Meghan, YAY, I am so happy you are moving here!!! We are going to be neighbors!
I do know a decent tailor and a good dressmaker/seamstress, both in Virginia, and I'd be happy to pass along contact info, but I'd have to agree with the other ladies and say get the dress here. It will be SO much easier for you if you do. I would be more than happy to give you some places to go, if you like. Let me know!! And welcome to the neighborood!
