Help I'm torn between the two??? We are have a summer or fall wedding with about 130 people. Any thoughts??

The Carltun in East Meadow??? I am not sure what time of day or day of the week you are planning to have your wedding, but I know when I called they had a 200 person minimum for a Saturday night.
Two very different feels. One has more of a golf course feel. We wanted that vintage, antique style mansion. Something secluded that gave us the feeling that this was just for us.
The De Seversky is gorgeous but I am totally biased. I just had my wedding there - 120 guests. The ballroom was the perfect size for what we wanted it our day to entail. While the site fee and cost per head was quite more than many Long Island venues, we were fine with that. Its grandeur and opulance was just breathtaking for us as well as our guests. Im still reeling a month alter! We loved how no one had heard of it or had been there. Gave it a sense of majesty and excitement for all. Service was impecable! Food was amazing. Attention to detail just fantastic. Any questions/concerns let me know!

Yea we were planning on doing a friday evening, there min is 150, we would just add to our list a bit. Pricing is the same tho. Im just not sure which place i like better. I dont see too many reviews of the carltun...

Ive been to a wedding there. Everything was amazing. I have a friend having an engagement party in the fall. (Big Spender... LOL)
Large dance floor. Huge variety of food, so delicious.

i love de seversky, we went to a wedding there a few years ago and they did a cocktail party. it was great cause we got to dance all night, and not do formal sit down, the grounds are beautiful.
