Dead beat Bridesmaids

I am soooo Upset... My two BEST FRIENDS ( YA RIGHT) are getting very very close to being CUT out of my wedding all together... Im sorry its just enough...
1st I asked them to come to a Bridal show case with me. They didn't want to go Fine they could have said I don't feel like going or Im sorry its not a good time ( I GET )... No ... Ro cant go I Don't want to Jinx myself ( *** ) how the heck will you Jinx yourself .....
Then, this blew me off the top .. We Have a Concert Sat. Night In NJ So I told them Great Sunday after the concert I will make an Appointment for BM's dresses since I will probably sleep over one of their houses and we could get up eat and leave.. Well... I write them an email to confirm one tells me sorry no Can DO I go to Church on Sunday ( LIAR !! F%$king liar she does not even go to church EVER... Even if she did she could go LATER in the Day) the other tells me she make a Hair Appointment ... Is it me or do I have Every right to be upset... I hope im not being Bridezillia .. I think they dont Give a Crap ..

okay... church lasts an HOUR.... you could go for dresses afterwards and go for lunch and make a little day out of it. That's if they WANTED to. (by the way... is that concert you're going to Bon Jovi? I'm going, too!)... anyway... sorry.... okay... sounds like they were bitten by the jealousy bug. JINX themselves?!!?!?!? GROW UP!!! How old are they because you sound like you're dealing with teenagers here. You either need to have a serious conversation as to where their priorities are, if their friendships are really valid or if they really want to be in your bridal party - or all of the above. I think we all have come to realize that some friends aren't as close to us as we thought. I had a friend in the beginning who I thought was FOR SURE going to be in my BP... we're no longer friends because I think she was upset that I was getting married before her and she was older than me. Sometimes the only thing you find out you have in common with friends is being single... and once that's gone, you have nothing in common anymore, and they feel left behind or jealous.

This is very ODD behaviour to say the least... You have every right to be upset...what is up with the lies - church? Come on... And the constant 'no can do' attitude... Can you have a word with them...

Either way I hope this is all sorted cos it sounds like you are very excited and organised...

That seems like a good idea...except they will be in pictures...and if you can't cut out a beer or wine glass (a la my SIL), you can't hide big ugly dresses either! But I do like the way this MOH thinks...

That's aweful. my bridesmaids are very handsoff, but that is ridiculous!

Re: Dead beat Bridesmaids

that's the last thing you need to be dealing with!

Definitely have a heart to heart with them, like Sarah said. If they're not going to step up to the plate, it's not mandatory for them to be in your BP! It's an honor! They should be supporting you and making you feel good, not causing you hassle!!!

good luck!!!

sorry to hear they are upsetting you! that stinks. but ::playing eternal devil's advocate:: maybe they are thinking 'we have plenty of time for all this since her wedding is about 15 months away' but they aren't saying that to you.

other ppl many times don't get it like us brides do. they may not want to get burned out on your wedding before the big day.

but i do think it s*cks they can't just be straight with you.
