Deadline to file a Tax GRIEVANCE!
We spent part of our day at Town hall and grieved our taxes for next year. The cut off date is March 1st, 2005. the form was easy to fill out, but you need to spend some time on there computers if you are going to compare it to houses that are similiar to yours you have to get the block, section, lot, also if you bring a copy of a recent apprasial of your house it helps also, that is what the clerk told us. keep your fingers crossed for us, our taxes are 10,000 a year! Also we did STAR for 2006 too. Just wanted to help everyone out who lives in Nassau county.
