Dear Co-worker,

So... you just said to someone, 'If people are hispanic but don't speak spanish, psh... i don't consider them hispanic. That's stupid.'

YO... you do realize I was born in Mexico, am 100% Mexican, have been there like 25 times, having a Mariachi Band at my wedding but don't really speak spanish b/c I was adopted by a italian/irish family.

Dear people who live upstairs from me,
(aka my parents, sister & her dog)

I am begging you to be quite. I can't take it anymore. I am so damn exhausted that I am going to fall asleep on the train & miss my stop. We had a deal and you keep breaking it. Just because you want to watch last season of Grays Anatomy doesn't mean I want to hear it at midnight when I have to be up for work at 6AM. You know that I can not function on anything less then 8 hours of sleep. Not to mention you also know how cranky i get if i don't sleep.

I am not asking for much, just be quite from 10PM-9AM like we agreed.

my father is puerto rican (who speaks spanish)
my mom is half ecuadorian(her father) and half black(her mom) and she doesnt speak spanish.
which means....... i dont speak it.
