She is always talking down to me as if I am an idiot. She is the biggest gossip in the place and when someone calls her out she plays her crying card. She tries to tell me how to do my job, which I am perfectly capable of managing on my own. The worst part is that she says things like, All of those people out there (Meaning the patients in the waiting room) are acting like real ni**ers, ( Not sure why she feels so comfortable saying this around me because I am a black woman) I have to really bite my tongue on those kinds of racists remarks because I would totally lose it on her. A few weeks ago we had 3 new patients in our I.D. department and she never told me about them out of spite. Seriously, who loses out? Me or the poor patient who is in need of some serious social services and support ??? She is nothing but a POS.
Sorry about the continued vent but I really really dislike this woman.

I plan on letting her know exactly what I think of her as soon as I finish up my PH.D program at the end of this summer. Right now, I don't think I will be able to tastefully tell her off without losing my job.

Yikkes she def sounds like she's not a nice person!!! Careful with the generalization of nurses though.. Some are highly educated and many many work very hard at their job! Hope this lady just shapes us for the sake of all patients

I work in a hospital and we have an anonomous (sp?) line to call and make complaints...such degrading & racist remarks need to be addressed
