a thousand seems so far away, but I cant believe how quickly a accumulated posts!! I'm almost there and I feel like i was nervous about getting 100 so I could go lol

I've been hearing about TWOTY for years from one of my girlfriends who is involved with the site....I hope I can go!!

i'll only say that 1000 is difficult for a lot of girls. i would love to post more, but i cant really be on t work, so that limits my time. ive scrambled to get 500 and i feel like i post all the time!

I agree with BrideAS. I post only when I have the chance too which does not happen to be everyday.I read almost every post and get to know as many brides as possible and I really like LIW. I'm trying my hardest to get to 500 and I have been member since 12/09. I would really like to go to the TWOTY and I will try to get a ticket when its available. I think 500 would be a good threshold. But that's just my opinion

It shouldn't be based on number of posts because half of these posts are pointless and have nothing to do with the ORIGINAL purpose of LIW.

I cannot stay on 24/7 to boost up my posts either.

I've been on here for almost a year and 1/2 and don't even have 300 posts because I can't go on when I'm working and I am ALWAYS WORKING!!!!

would you expect to play in the championship game, if you couldn't make any of the practices?...what about if you just joined the team?.....just sayin

Thats pretty harsh and kind of insulting. FYI if your on the injured list you're still part of the team and get the rings for the championships. You're just as much part of the team for being there even though you cant participate due to circumstances beyond your control...just saying.


I think 500 is pretty fair. Its more than 100 and harder to get to.


Some of us can't get on all the time, I've been a member since 9/09 and it took me forever to get to 500. Most of us that have jobs that block LIW and its affiliate site. Its difficult for us to double the amount of posts if we cant get on for at least 10 hours a day. A bunch of us missed the sale for TWOTY tickets last year because we were stuck at work with computers that couldn't access LIW. How fair is it to say that you've been a member for this long but dont have X amt of posts so eff off. I'd love to see the TWOTY bc thats my RH in action and it would be great to see it. However if people are going to be jerks about the posts it took for your to get there than eff it. i do agree that 100 is too easy but 500 isn't as easy to get to in that amt of time we have left.

I just think its messed up, bc i saw a bunch of girls on here boosting their posts to 100 to go last year that now have 1000's. So thats a bit hypocritical.

I dont mean to sound like a beyotch, I dont want to cause drama. But statements like the one I quoted are unfair and mean. I'm just saying this should be fair to everyone, not just the select few who are lucky to be able to get on when others cant.

Totally agree!!!!! Wasn't very cool to say that. Just because some of us aren't on here posting every day, doesn't mean we don't deserve to share in the TWOTY experience. Truthfully, I probably have work the day of anyway, so I wouldn't even be able to go.

I don't think you should have a minimum of posts to go. Should be random and that's all. The whole 1,000 posts for a t-shirt, that I can see. But for this, I think it's unfair.

Maybe they wouldn't need so many posts if all the posts were wedding related. Not just a way to 'get your numbers up'... that's kinda cheating in a sense no?
